Gold Coast spearhead Ben King has been cleared of another serious knee injury after sending a huge scare through the camp during a routine training session.
King hurt his left knee on Saturday and was immediately sent for scans, which showed he had avoided major damage.
It is understood King has some bone bruising in the knee but remains a chance to play in the Suns' next fixture, an away clash with Fremantle on June 23.
The 23-year-old is one of Gold Coast's most important players as they push for a maiden finals appearance in Damien Hardwick's first season at the helm.
The Suns (7-6) sit just outside the top eight at their mid-season bye.
King missed the entire 2022 season with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
He returned last year with 40 majors from 20 games, leading the Suns' goal-kicking for the third time.
King is the joint leader in the Coleman Medal race this season with 38 goals, matched by Carlton's Charlie Curnow.
