Sunderland have confirmed leaks reported last week as they officially unveiled their kit for the 2022-23 Championship campaign. The kit is similar to that of the 2011-12 season, with black trim round the collar and sleeves.
Alex Neil's side are currently in Portugal for their pre-season camp and will take on the Europa League finalists before a game against Jose Mourinho's AS Roma next Wednesday. The Black Cats will don their new garments when they face Rangers on Saturday at the Estadio Municipal de Albufeira.
The red and white home kit is adorned with the new Spreadex sponsor after the club announced a deal with the UK-based financial trading and sports betting firm last week. The Black Cats announced a deal for a three-year partnership, which will include the Spreadex Sports logo adorning the Club’s home and away shirts until summer 2025.

A statement from the Black Cats said: "Supporters are advised that due to unforeseen delivery delays, children’s sizes will be extremely limited at the launch date. To be one of the first to find out when items become available, please register your interest by clicking ‘missing size’ and adding your email address.
"For the first time in over a decade, a tailored women’s fitted shirt will also be available to supporters. Along with mini kits and socks, the women’s fit shirt is expected to be on sale ahead of the Club’s opening league game of the campaign."
