Sunderland have been told they have nothing to lose as they take on Fulham tonight in the FA Cup. Tony Mowbray has named a strong side to take on the Premier League high fliers.
The Wearsiders were impressive in the first game at Craven Cottage and could have won the tie in injury time, only for Chris Rigg's goal to be ruled out for an offside in the build-up.
Former Sunderland striker Kevin Phillips is expecting the Black cats to go for it again this evening, stating they have nothing to lose. Phillips was full of praise for boss Mowbray who has handed opportunities to the young guns once again tonight.

Phillips said: "It's what you expect in an FA Cup tie at this stage, especially a Championship side going to a Premier League team. They go there as the underdogs and you expect them to have a go.
"It just typifies what Tony Mowbray has brought to this club, they're not afraid. They're a young side and the average age of their first-team is 22, which is remarkable.
"You look at their bench this evening, there's a 15-year-old, 16-year-old and 17-year-old. I expect a similar scenario again, Sunderland the underdogs again but they're here at the Stadium of Light so anything is possible."
Schwarzer added: "No very much so like Kevin was saying, Sunderland have nothing to lose. According to the experts, they have little chance of winning against Fulham who are flying high in the Premier League, albeit a side that has a lot of changes."
