Sunderland supporters have cast their disappointing verdict after the latest kit leak surfaced on social media. Like every season, mock up kits do the round before the club unveils their colours for the next campaign and fans deliver their verdict online.
The pink and purple kit, which bares similarity to Sunderland's away kit from their League One play-off winning campaign albeit in a different colour to yellow and blue, has also drawn similarities to the 2016-17 season. The pink and purple kit from that campaign didn't go down well with supporters and the same can be said about the latest reported leak.
Some of the red and white faithful pointed out the supposed away kit looked more like a training kit or a goalkeeper kit, while others said it was too similar to Sunderland's current home kit.
The Black Cats have not yet confirmed their away kit for the 2023-34 Championship campaign, which gets underway on August 6 at home to Ipswich Town.
