Sunderland youngster Kenton Richardson will stay at Spennymoor Town until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old joined National League North side Moors in November initially on a 28-day loan, but that deal was later extended until January.
And now the Black Cats have agreed to allow the defender to stay at the Brewery Field until the end of the campaign.

Richardson had started all three of Sunderland's EFL Trophy group games before leaving on loan.
He becomes the sixth Sunderland youngster to either go out on loan, or see their loan extended, during the January transfer window.
Midfielder Stephen Wearne has joined National League side Torquay, managed by Sunderland boss Lee Johnson's father Gary, while striker Will Harris has moved to League Two Barrow.
Forward Jack Diamond has resumed his loan spell at League Two Harrogate Town after being recalled at the beginning of the month.
Defender Patrick Almond is on loan at National League North side Blyth Spartans, and goalkeeper Jack McIntyre is at Northern Premier League side Radcliffe FC.
