Sunderland's home clash against Rotherham next Saturday has been postponed and will now be played at a later date.
The Black Cats were set to welcome the League One leaders to Wearside on March 26 but the EFL have accepted Rotherham's request to call the game off. Next week's international break is the reason why the fixture has been moved, with former Newcastle winger Shane Ferguson - now at Rotherham - earning a call up to the Northern Ireland squad for their games against Luxembourg and Hungary. Sunderland duo Corry Evans and Trai Hume also made Ian Baraclough's 25-man squad.
Australia have called up Black Cats centre-back Bailey Wright for their crucial World Cup qualifiers against Japan and Saudi Arabia. The Socceroos are currently third in their group - behind their two opponents - and risk failing to qualify for the first time since 2002.

The extended break could prove beneficial to Alex Neil's side, with several first-team players expected to return in the coming weeks. Aidan McGeady and Danny Batth are nearing full fitness and could be available for the rescheduled fixture against Rotherham. Confirmation on when the game will now take place is expected in due course.
