Sunderland fans are pleased with Tony Mowbray's decision to name new signing Amad Diallo on the bench for tonight's Tees-Wear derby against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.
Diallo joined the Black Cats on a season-long loan from Manchester United last Wednesday and could make his debut from the bench against Boro this evening. The Ivorian spent the second half of last season on loan at Rangers and helped the Scottish heavyweights reach the UEFA Europa League final.
Mowbray, who previously captained Middlesbrough and also managed them for three years, names an unchanged line-up from last Wednesday's 3-0 victory over Rotherham United at the Stadium of Light. Here is how Sunderland supporters have reacted to Mowbray's latest line-up.
Starting XI: Patterson; Gooch, O’Nien, Batth, Cirkin, Clarke, Evans, Neil, Pritchard, Simms, Stewart.
Subs: Bass, Alese, Diallo, Wright, Roberts, Embleton, Matete.

@john_the_scone Good line up.
@CalSAFCFTM Hopefully we get to see Amad in the second half. Good starting line-up.
@safccliamm We want an Amad debut.
@Reece78439999 Good! Don't change a winning team, good to see Amad on the bench!
@Laking86 No surprises. Settled team playing well. Makes sense as well that Amad is further ahead than the other new signings so is the one of the bench.
@Philip_RJ89 Nice to see a settled starting XI, and it'd be great for Amad Diallo to get twenty or thirty minutes in the second half. Would really love to see Ellis Simms get on the score sheet tonight as well!
@PaddyHollis123 Pretty much expected, nice to see Diallo on the bench.
@SAFCBible1879 Over the moon with this team.
