Sunderland fans have been left furious after Kyril Louis-Dreyfus revealed the previous owners still held the majority shares in the club.
The Athletic claim the 25-year-old owns a 41 per cent stake in the club with Madrox still owning the majority shares.
Stewart Donald has a 34 per cent stake in the club, Juan Sartori has 20 per cent shares in the club and Charlie Methven makes up the remaining five per cent.

Red and white supporters were in uproar on social media, upset by the news of a Madrox majority, despite Louis-Dreyfus previously stating he had a 'controlling stake in the football club.'
Here's what Sunderland fans had to say about the revelation.
@Jackksafc tweeted: "Wow. Lie after lie after lie. Absolutely fuming and have every right to be. We all do. Disgraceful."
Gary Nicholson said on Facebook: "Turmoil awaits when we inevitably fail to be promoted again and lose what decent players we have.
"This explains why there’s been little to no investment in the playing staff and exactly why Keano didn’t want to come back. He’d have told the truth about what he didn’t like about how the club is run and they couldn’t have that. Shambles."
Graham Pattison said: "An absolutely shocking way to treat the fans, no honesty in this club whatsoever, until they were backed into a corner.
"How can we trust anything that comes out of this club in the future. This once great club is owned by people who simply don't care about its history or bond the club had with the town and its fans."
Neil Wake said: "What we all feared I guess after the last few weeks? The fact they've dressed it up as something it wasn't shows what they think of us fans."
