Sunderland have confirmed the arrival of 17-year-old Ukrainian striker Timur Tutierov. The youngster has signed a two-and-a-half year deal at the Academy of Light after leaving Ukrainian Premier League side FC Kolos Kovalivka.
Social media speculation has been rife regarding the club signing the youngster, with the Black Cats once again branching out when it comes to recruitment. Tutierov will train with the Club’s Under-18s having made the move to Wearside.
He cored seven goals in 15 appearances for Kolos’ youth side during the current campaign, but has also been named in the senior matchday squad on two occasions. Tutierov's arrival is the latest in a number of young signings following Kyril Louis-Dreyfus' takeover at the Stadium of Light.

The Black Cats senior squad is almost unrecognisable to the one he inherited with the likes of Jewison Bennette, Abdoullah Ba and Isaac Lihadji signing for Sunderland from across South America and Europe.
Academy Manager Robin Nicholls said: “We are delighted to welcome Timur to Sunderland AFC. He is an exciting prospect and we are confident that we can provide the right environment for him to continue his development. Timur joins an exciting selection of players within our professional development phase and the staff are looking forward to continuing their work with him.”
