A 10-year-old actress from Sunderland has been cast in a brand-new Netflix series that was created and written by Game of Thrones showrunners.
Eve Ridley has been announced as the latest cast member to join the production of the Netflix series ' 3 Body Problem' which was created and written by Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B Weiss. The talented youngster takes on a major billing role in the exciting new series.
Eve already has a number of acting credits under her belt including the voice of Wendy Wolf in Peppa Pig and has undertaken training with the world-class performance training programme and industry accelerator Stagebox at its Leeds base. She has been honing her craft with Stagebox for the last two years and is also managed by the in-house management team, Stagebox Management.

Stagebox operates nationwide with bases in Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Leeds, and Birmingham and has received national acclaim for the quality of its teaching. Stagebox Management has secured over 400 Stagebox members and alumni with major screen credits.

Since joining Stagebox as a screen newcomer, Eve has achieved so much with her first major network role at the beginning of her exciting journey with us. We’re so looking forward to seeing her star on our screens in 3 Body Problem opposite such talent."
'3 Body Problem' is an adaptation of Liu Cixin’s award-winning novel of the same name, which follows the story of physicist Wang Miao. It is billed as an "ambitious tale" about "what happens when humanity discovers they aren’t alone".
In addition to Benioff and Weiss, Game of Thrones' Bernadette Caulfield will be producing the show, alongside the likes of Rian Johnson, whose credits include Star Wars Episode VIII – The Last Jedi. The show has been in production since November 2021 and shooting commenced in the UK and China.
