Deadly ultra-modern fighter jets worth £100million have arrived in the UK and will “make Putin sweat”, according to a military source.

As international tensions reach unprecedented levels, £300m worth of supersonic F-35B Lightning jets have been landing one after the other at RAF Marham in Norfolk.

The menacing aircrafts, flown in from the US, can carry 22,000lbs of firepower including eight Paveway laser-guided missiles and come with a terrifying “beast mode”.

Brit trapped in Ukraine along with wife after evacuation plan is aborted

A British man and his wife are trapped in Ukraine after their evacuation plans were aborted.

College lecturer Charlie Gilkerson, 68, and his wife Iryna, 58, are among the civilians trapped in the city of Mariupol.

Despite agreeing to a seven hour ceasefire, an evacuation planned for earlier today was aborted amid accusations Russian forces had bombed humanitarian corridors.

Queen 'never returning to Buckingham Palace' after final decision to stay in Windsor

The Queen has reportedly chosen to stay at Windsor Castle in a move signalling she "will never live at Buckingham Palace again".

Her Majesty's official royal residence of Buckingham Palace has not been her base since the pandemic began.

Health considerations are said to factor into the decision as the 95-year-old recently caught Covid and also deals with mobility issues, The Mirror reported.
