Although the Coronation itself may be over, there’s still a lot of bank holiday weekend left to enjoy. Celebrations continue to take place across Greater Manchester, with people holding street parties and events today and tomorrow.
Those who held street parties yesterday had to doge the showers, but Sunday is offering a much brighter outlook. A high of 20C is forecast by the Met Office for Greater Manchester today, potentially the warmest day of the year so far.
It’s set to remain dry throughout the day - perfect if you’re planning a barbecue. If you’re hoping for some sunshine though you might be disappointed, as it’s expected to be cloudy for most of the day. This evening should be mild, with temperatures only dropping to 15C by 10pm.

Unfortunately the warm weather won’t be holding out until Bank Holiday Monday, and it’s bad news if you’ve got a street party planned for tomorrow. Heavy rain is forecast from 7am in the morning, and there’s no sign of it easing until mid afternoon.
A high of 16C is forecast for Monday, although it will feel a bit cooler due to the rain. Lighter showers are predicted for the evening.
The weather will remain unsettled across the rest of the week, with showers and sunny intervals forecast.
