Manchester United fans have criticised Avram Glazer after he failed to respond to Cristiano Ronaldo's claim that the American owners care about the club.
Ronaldo accused the Glazers of not caring about the club during his interview with Piers Morgan that was released last week.
He said: "The Glazers, they don't care about the club. I mean, professional sport, as you know, Manchester is a marketing club. They will get money from the marketing - the sport, it's, they don't really care, in my opinion.

"The fans, they're always right. I think the fans should know the truth, should know that the players want the best for the club. I want the best for the club. This is why I came to Manchester United. "
It has since been revealed that the Glazers are open to selling the club after 17 years of ownership. Following the news, Avram Glazer was asked about Ronaldo's accusations by a Sky News journalist.
The reporter said: "Cristiano Ronaldo says you don't care about the club and thousands of United fans agree with him."
Glazer responded: "I'll tell you about Cristiano Ronaldo, he's a great Manchester United payer, I appreciate everything he's done for the club and I wish him the best of luck in the future, thanks very much."
The response didn't go down well with United supporters, as they took the opportunity to slam the club's owners in the wake of the 62-year-old's failure to respond to the reporter's question. Fans took to social media to vent their frustration, while also celebrating the fact that a sale is edging ever closer.
