Sumona Chakravarti shared her awe-inspiring moments after getting to meet Indian educator, author and Padma Shri (2006) and Padma Bhushan (2023) awardee Sudha Murthy on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show.
She posted a couple of pictures with her and wrote about how Sudha ji’s presence touched her heart. Sumona wrote, “It’s very rare when a guest on my show really and i mean genuinely touches my heart. I was so lucky to have met & shared a few moments with Sudha ma’am last evening on my set. Sudha ma’am- what an honour & a privilege to meet you. Your simplicity, humility & your humour has made me your lifetime admirer. The path that you have paved for the women in our country, all your philanthropy is so inspiring. Your smile, your laughter, your zest for life & not to forget your story telling is something that will stay with me forever. If my Nani was alive today, she would have been more or less her age. Honestly I thought i was hugging my nani. It was the same warmth & love that i felt; something no words can ever describe. Thank you for being you. Some souls come in to this world only to make it a better place. You’re truly one of them.”
