Young actors tried their hand at putting on a play as part of a summer festival of theatrical activities recently.
The scheme was part of PACE Youth Theatre's Summer Fest and it saw the creation of The Domino Effect, an ensemble play about how small actions can have big consequences.

Working on the project for a week, the actors did a fantastic job of bringing the project to life. Pictured are the young actors working on the project in rehearsals at the Spires Drama Studios on
School Wynd.
The Domino Effect came to fame at the 2014 edition of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, It tells the story of a silent girl who finds her voice, and her mother, when a mysterious East End antiques dealer teaches her how small actions lead to big effects, and how to master the law of unintended consequences.
The play is written especially for young actors, and has roles that are varied and meaty, which makes it great fun to rehearse, said Jenni Mason, artistic director at PACE.
She added: "The cast worked together brilliantly to bring this colourful and surreal fantasy to life over the course of the week and used devices including puppetry and movement to create a really inventive and exciting performance.”
