A young man found dead in a north Manchester park had no history of mental health problems, an inquest has heard.
Arbaz Nasim Mohammad was found in Herristone Park off Blackley New Road just after 9am on August 26 last year.
Statements read to Manchester Coroner's Court today said the family had been left in 'shock' by the 24-year-old's death, as he had no history of mental health problems.
The death of a close friend in a car crash when he was 16 and a close university friend unexpectedly committing suicide in his final year had left him 'very upset', but he had never disclosed any mental health problems of his own to his family or doctors.

Arbaz worked as an assistant accountant having moved to England from Pakistan with family in 2013.
He had attended Harpurhey College before moving to Colchester to study at the University of Essex.
After graduating Arbaz moved back to Blackley to live in Lakeside Rise while working as an assistant accountant.
A statement from his older brother, Yasir Nasim Mohammad, said that Arbaz was very successful in his work and had been promoted a number of times saying he had been "very proud of his achievements".
It was only in the few weeks before his death that Yasir noticed a change in Arbaz's behaviour where he was "working all through the night and barely sleeping".
This happened in the two weeks before his death, according to Yasir, who said Arbaz would usually come to him for advice but this time he didn't.
"He was distracted, I could tell. He didn't wish me a happy birthday," Yasir said.
"He didn't have any family troubles. My father is in shock that this happened. He had no history like this at all and no signs of troubles with his mental health.
"I think he made a last minute decision to do this. All our family would have helped him overcome these difficulties."
A statement from Arbaz's fiancé Sadeeqa Javed read to the court described him as a "very respectable person".
Sadeeqa described that the day before his death on August 25 they had been together in the evening but he had been very quiet.
"He was not himself and started to cry and told me he loved me before leaving," she said.
Arbaz was found in Herristone Park the next morning and pronounced dead by paramedics just before 9.15am. There were no suspicious circumstances, the court was told.
Senior coroner Nigel Meadows concluded Arbaz's cause of death as suicide.
