This week has turned NFL fans everywhere into meteorologists, as fans of the Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills have grappled with the effects of record cold and driving snow on their respective teams.
Much ink was spilled on what wind chills in the neighborhood of 20-below zero would mean for the players in the Dolphins’ AFC wild card game against the Chiefs—but relatively few on the audacious fans who attended the contest.
That changed once the football world got a glimpse of just what conditions were like in the Arrowhead Stadium stands Saturday evening.
One TikTok that made its way around social media depicted water being removed from a refrigerator and almost immediately turning to slush.

Another video showed the windows of Arrowhead Stadium's suites almost completely fogged.

Played in the midst of a cold snap throughout the Midwest, this game is likely to rank as one of the most frigid in NFL history.
