PEOPLE travelling on Glasgow’s Subway will be treated to "surprise" live musical performances next week.
Tide Lines, a folk-pop band, will pop up at stations across the city on Monday (April 21) as part of a one-day-only sub crawl with a twist.
The Highland four-piece will be performing stripped-back versions of songs from their new album Glasgow Love Story – which will be released on April 25 - in a heartfelt tribute to the city.

Frontman Robert Robertson explained that each tune is a love letter to Glasgow’s streets, people, and stories.
He went on to tell fans how they can catch the live performances.
Robertson said: “We’re busking some songs at a few stops on the subway, and for us it’s about taking the songs back to where they were written, to the places that mean something to us.
“This city’s been a big part of our journey. We’ll be updating our mailing list subscribers with our location as we go, so make sure you’re signed up - it’ll be just like an Easter egg hunt, but with tunes.
“Each song is a nod to the city that helped shape us and our story, making this ‘crawl’ a true love letter to Glasgow.”
The "busk crawl" comes ahead of the band’s biggest headline show to date, at Rouken Glen Park in June.
Tide Lines are set to headline The Reeling, Glasgow’s traditional music festival, on Friday, June 6, joined by Siobhan Miller band, Beinn Lee, and Gnoss.
Festival goers will be able to enjoy two lively stages, a family-friendly ceilidh area, and Scottish food and drink.
The band said they look forward to returning to the city and reminisced on their early days in West End bars to selling out three nights at the Barrowlands.
Tide Lines’ new album will feature singles including The Quayside, Leaving Town, and Better Days.
