Subway launches summer menu with five new items - including loaded nachos

Calling all foodies and Subway fans, as the sandwich chain has officially given its menu a shake-up for the summer - and it's full of exciting new items.

The fast-food chain is giving its fans a taste of something completely new, by launching five items onto their menu for the first ever time.

They are the latest fast-food chain on the high-street to give their menu a bit of a twist for summer, following the launch of McDonald's Taste Of Italy menu yesterday.

From yesterday, June 8, the chain introduced a variety of new offerings for your taste buds, including hot Margherita and Pepperoni Slices, Steak Loaded Nachos and Jude’s Flat White Iced Coffee and Chocolate Milkshake.

Pizza lovers will be able to choose between a classic Margherita or Pepperoni Slice, with Subway's brand new pizza-style slices that are said to be a twist on the chain's beloved Italian Classic.

It will be a half toasted 6" sub that will be topped with Subway's signature marinara sauce and melted mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

Alternatively, fans can try out their first ever steak loaded nachos that are loaded with mozzarella and cheddar cheese and then topped with steak pieces. Double the cheese might be the winner for most of us!

You can even add on some jalapenos if you really want to give your nachos a bit of a punchy twist that will hit the taste-buds.

And they aren't the only items to be added, as fast-food chain has also added a couple of more drinks to their menu - Jude’s Flat White Iced Coffee and Chocolate Milkshake.

These refreshing hot/cold drinks can be enjoyed as part of a meal deal, as well as on their own.

Subway's new summer menu is available in stores across Scotland. Customers can use Mobile Collection via the Subway app or opt for delivery via services including Just Eat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
