Subway launches London SuperYacht pop-up restaurant

Subway has opened its first pop-up restaurant aboard a yacht in central London, with Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson the first on board.

The VIP experience has been launched as a celebration of Subway’s “Meal Deal Millionaire” competition, where Subway customers have the chance to win one million Subway Rewards points.

That’s enough to buy 1,000 Footlong Subs and end-to-end it is the length of over 33 yachts.

Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson was the first guest at the floating restaurant this week with the experience on board “The Subway” opening to the public for free on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 March 2022.

Thompson said: “I was really excited to get aboard The Subway and be the first to have a taste of the VIP lifestyle. Subs with silver service and a DJ playing? I can’t think of a better way to spend the afternoon!”

Bookings can be made in advance to enjoy a “luxury” luncheon of subway sandwiches, complimentary drinks, silver service and a live DJ. Tables are decked out with silver bells should you need to call on the bubbly crew members.

The Meal Deal combo includes the brand’s classic Footlong Sub, crisps or cookie, a glass of bubbly and a few extra surprise treats.

Tickets can be reserved from Eventbrite here for a one hour slot from 12-3.30pm, including a tour of the boat by the resident “Captain” on board.

Guests who purchase a Subway Meal Deal at Subway stores until 29th March have the chance to become a ‘Meal Deal Millionaire’ and win one million Subway Rewards points via the app.
