'Stunning' Susanna Reid turns heads at BAFTA TV Awards in sheer dress as she joins Piers Morgan

Susanna Reid appeared to be channelling Kim Kardashian as she worked the cameras in a sheer black dress on the red carpet for this year’s BAFTA TV Awards.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 48, stole the spotlight from a host of TV’s biggest names in a stunning floor length gown with only a floral pattern to hide her modesty.

Reid arrived with her breakfast TV co-host Piers Morgan who tweeted a picture of the pair on the red carpet. He captioned the shot: “BAFTAs!”

Fans were bowled over by Reid’s look, with many hailing her “stunning”.

“Susanna Reid is unreal,” wrote one fan on Twitter, while another posted: “Wow @susannareid100, you look gorgeous.”

A third tweeted: “Wow @susannareid100 looks stunning . . . Piers scrubs up well too!”

Another wrote: “@piersmorgan luckiest man in the world right now @susannareid100 looks beautiful.”

Good Morning Britain was up for two gongs in the News Coverage category for its coverage of knife crime in the UK and an interview with Meghan Markle’s father Thomas Markle. But the breakfast show lost out to Channel 4, with Piers Morgan tweeting his disappointment at "failing".

Earlier in the week he took aim at the seating plan last week after he was placed a number of rows back from the front.

Tweeting at BAFTA, he wrote: “Not happy with my current seating placement for Sunday’s BAFTA TV Awards. At all.”

He wasn’t the only one left disgruntled by the seating plan, with fans complaining at Ant and Dec being sat the wrong way around. Ant is always to the left of Dec, but organisers swapped them.

The Geordie duo made their first red carpet appearance together in over a year at Sunday night’s ceremony following Ant’s hiatus from TV.

The presenter left Dec to fly solo on their hit shows following a drink driving charge and a stint in rehab. He made his TV return last month on Britain’s Got Talent.

The duo's TV shows Britain's Got Talent and I'm A Celebrity won Entertainment Programme and Reality & Constructed Factual.
