Two mice scrap for food dropped by commuters on a deserted London Underground platform in this stunning image.
The snap - titled “Station squabble” - was the winner of the LUMIX People’s Choice Award at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.
Photographer Sam Rowley waited patiently to capture the brawling rodents who were at it for less than a second before deciding to go their own way.
Although he intended only to capture their silhouettes, Sam grabbed a split-second chance when two mice jumped at each other and began to fight over the breadcrumbs.
It came out on top after 48,000 photographs of animals were this year submitted to the competition, with only 25 making the final shortlist of images.

Its organisers said: “Sam discovered the best way to photograph the mice inhabiting London’s Underground was to lie on the platform and wait.
"He only saw them fight over scraps of food dropped by passengers a few times, possibly because it is so abundant. This fight lasted a split second, before one grabbed a crumb and they went their separate ways.”
Sam said: "I am so pleased to win this award. It's been a lifetime dream to succeed in this competition in this way, with such a relatable photo taken in such an everyday environment in my hometown.

"I hope it shows people the unexpected drama found in the most familiar of urban environments."
The image will be displayed in the Natural History Museum until 31 May along with 24 of the other entries.
Another commended imaged included 'Losing the Fight' showing an Orangutan in boxing attire at Bangkok's Safari World.
Another reveals a white Arctic reindeer camouflaged against the snow and a jaguar carrying an anaconda with her cub.
