A new report on Ireland’s housing crisis has shown prices increasing once again with the average cost of a Dublin three-bed reaching €403,000.
It is widely known that the supply of family homes in Ireland - that are ready to move into - does not meet the current demand, particularly in terms of budgets.
Right across the country, house hunters are coming up against fierce competition to land a family home - with bidding wars kicking off for most properties.

This four bedroom home in Tipperary is no different with up to one hundred people bidding against one another for a chance at owning it.
The stunning detached family home was put on the market at €200,000 and ended up being scooped after the two-hour bidding war by one person who offered €143,000 more than that.
According to the auctioneers: “The property provides a large detached four bedroom house from gardens to the front and rear,” and “is arranged over ground and first floor beneath a pitched roof with off street parking available.
The property extends to approximately 344 sq. m (3,702 sq. ft) and located on a site area extending to approximately 0.40 hectares (0.98 acres).
Not only is it a spacious build, with gardens surrounding the premises, it was also in high demand due to its location in close proximity of all amenities.
This home is one among many that are being bid on over the space of two-hours, as perspective buyers go above and beyond their means to own a home in Ireland.
