Stunning lochside property for sale on shores of Loch Ewe comes with two beautiful cottages

A stunning lochside property that comes with two cottages and epic views of Loch Ewe has just gone up for sale. Set between the villages of Aultbea and Mellon Charles on the northwest coast of Scotland, the pair of builds include a beautifully restored traditional cottage and what is currently being used as a modern holiday let.

Priced at offers over £520,000, Lochside comes with the three-bedroom house, which was recently modernised and upgraded, and the New Cottage, an eco-friendly, two-bedroom build.

The estate agents Galbraith, who are dealing with the sale, said: "New Cottage and Lochside are two outstanding cottages currently run as holiday lets. Formerly an artisan food business with owners’ accommodation, in 2019 the production and retail space was converted into a luxury, environmentally friendly cottage and two years later the original croft cottage was extended and modernised and included as part of the holiday let offering."

The bustling towns of Gairloch, Ullapool and Dingwall are all nearby, with the city of Inverness just under two hours drive away for any amenities.

Lochside was recently upgraded and extended to create a beautiful accommodation that comes complete with roof-to-floor windows looking out onto the spectacular views of Loch Ewe, larch wood flooring and a multi-fuel stove.

Speaking about the second additional property, New Cottage, Galbraith added: "[It] was conceived as a unique holiday rental where sustainability, green tourism and the coastal setting are combined with and reflected in the state-of-the-art interior.

"The single-storey accommodation has curved walls and floor-to-ceiling windows to create a feeling of calm and to extend the sense of living space into the landscape. The fittings are all of the highest quality and where possible, natural, recycled or reclaimed materials have been used, while an electric car charging point is powered by PV solar panels."
