'Stunning' house nestled within historic estate farmland for sale

A ‘stunning’ cottage has come on the market in Merseyside, that sits on a historic development Dawpool Farm.

Named Ingle Wood House, the property is found within the former Dawpool Estate that was once purchased by Thomas Henry Ismay the owner of the prestigious White Star Line whose Liverpool based fleet was to include the Titanic. A country house was originally built in the late 1880s but later demolished in the 1920s.

Parts of the original estate were saved however, and reused as lodges and stables. These are now Grade II listed and still found within the estate.

Refurbishments have been ‘seamlessly’ completed to combine modern luxuries while still maintaining period features. It’s listed for sale with Bradshaw Farnham and Lea, for £600,000.

The study could also be used as a dressing room, and has access to the second floor. Another bedroom and en-suite bathroom is found on the top floor.

Outside the home has two private courtyards, one in the front of the property and one in the back. There are also separate designated parking spaces for two cars, plus a visitor parking place within 'the great barn.'
