Aldi shoppers say they are ‘tempted’ by a 'stunning' new SpecialBuy which looks almost identical to a designer piece. Shoppers often look forward to affordable Aldi SpecialBuy items, which change every week.
The Liverpool Echo reports that this week's Specialbuy is a new velvet storage ottoman priced at £19.99. The ottoman is available in blue, cream, or grey.
The retailer took to Instagram to share the velvet storage ottoman along with a decorative rug that comes in grey and yellow, grey diamond, and grey zigzag.

Aldi's Kirkston House Velvet Storage Ottoman is on sale in stores and online and has an 80.5l (approx.) capacity. The SpecialBuy is almost identical to a £229.95 designer ottoman from Roseland.
The Roseland ottoman is the same colour of blue as the Aldi Specialbuy. However, one difference is that the Roseland one has metal legs compared to the Aldi version which is directly on the ground.
The designer version is 32cm longer than the Aldi version. Despite the size difference and the metal legs, shoppers could save themselves £210 by purchasing the Aldi offer.
Shoppers were quick to praise the designer ottoman ‘dupe’ and say they’re ‘tempted’ to buy it. One fan commented: “Oh I’ve been looking for a navy blue ottoman for my bedroom.”
Another added: “This is actually stunning.” Whilst another tagged their friend: “You seen the ottoman [heart eye emoji]. Tempted xx.” The friend replied: “So nice.”
