We all know that Dublin is absolutely steeped in history, and now even our pubs and restaurants are showing their age.
A new study that looks at the oldest restaurants in the world has revealed that the capital is home to the fifth oldest in the WORLD.
Yes, The Brazen Head, famed for being Ireland's oldest pub, is located on Bridge Street Lower on Usher's Quay.
And although they don't plan on reopening until August due to the lockdown restrictions, they're already making headlines.
While it's common knowledge that the spot has been open since 1198, it's pre-dated by only a couple of hundred years by three European and one Chinese spot.
