A mystery Scottish woman reunited a student with his ID after it was lost on a holiday in Spain.
Dan Knight, 21, flew to Magaluf for a holiday with friends on June 13 but lost his provisional driving licence during the trip. However, after returning to Sheffield, Dan was stunned when a handwritten letter from 'Kirsty in Scotland' - and his ID - arrived at his door.
In the letter Kirsty explains she found his driving licence outside a hotel in the Mallorcan holiday resort but was told Dan wasn't staying there, the Daily Record reports.
The mysterious Good Samaritan tried to find him on social media but ended up taking the ID home to send in the post.

A hero Scots holidaymaker reunited a student with his ID he lost over 1,200 miles away from home. Dan Knight, 21, had flown to Magaluf for a holiday with friends on June 13 but was left gutted after losing his provisional driving licence.
The letter read: "Hello, I found this outside the Martinique Hotel in Magaluf on Tuesday. I checked with the hotel and you weren't staying there. Checked social media but couldn't find you.
"So I brought it home to Scotland to send on to you when I got home on Wednesday. I hope this finds you. Kirsty."
The History and Politics student was left gobsmacked by the letter and is now desperate to find Kirsty, who he has dubbed "the soundest girl in the world", but with no luck so far.
He told the Record: "I returned home and it arrived a few days later. I couldn't stop grinning when I read it. It was sent with a first-class stamp as well! It's such a nice gesture.
"No one knows who she is and I'm desperate to say thank you properly. Kirsty, wherever you are, you are the soundest girl in the world."
Dan posted about the sweet gesture on Twitter, and his tweet has received over 14,000 likes. He added: "These days you never expect someone to go out of their way to do something for a stranger. It has restored my faith in humanity."
