Amused viewers have related to Monty’s “smart” tactics and, describing them as “standard bulldog behaviour”.
At the beginning of the TikTok video , puppy Monty is stubbornly standing in the hallway with his harness and lead on.
His owner, who is dressed in a cap and coat ready to face the cold outdoors, patiently waits for Monty to move towards the door to go on his winter walk, but he is refusing.
The pup spreads his paws out and attempts to stand his ground, as his owner gently tugs on his lead in a bid to get him to move.
After 10 seconds of refusing, Monty struggles to keep up the resistance and begins to slowly slide across the hallway floor on his bottom.
The strong-willed pup doesn’t give up and tries to turn around and pull away from his dad.
Even when his owner goes to pick him up, Monty firmly plants his bottom on the floor.
At the end of the clip, Monty is sitting halfway down the hallway continuing to protest against his snowy walk.
The hilarious TikTok video is captioned “It’s a no from Monty” and reads: 'When it’s in the minus degrees and snowing outside'.
