Kilmarnock have secured Stuart Findlay for the upcoming season after finalising a new loan agreement with Oxford United.
The 28-year-old centre-back, who played 46 matches last season for Derek McInnes’ team, contributed to Kilmarnock’s fourth-place finish in the Scottish Premiership and helped clinch a European spot for the first time since 2019.
With this latest loan deal, Findlay will return for a fifth stint in Ayrshire. He has previously been with the Rugby Park outfit on a permanent basis and on loan from Celtic and Newcastle.
Findlay is under contract with parent club Oxford until 2026.
Announcing the acquisition, a Kilmarnock statement read: "We are delighted to announce that Stuart Findlay will re-join the club for the 2024/25 season, pending approval on an extension of our existing loan agreement with Oxford United.
"The Scotland international made 46 appearances for us in all competitions last season.
"Findlay is no stranger to Rugby Park, this will mark his fifth spell with us here in Ayrshire.
"Welcome back, Stu!"
