Stuart Broad and Mollie King reveal pregnancy news in sweet Instagram post

Singer Mollie King has announced that she is expecting her first child with her fiancé Stuart Broad. The 35-year-old, who found fame as a member of girl group The Saturdays, announced news of her pregnancy on Instagram by posting a sweet photo of English cricketer Stuart kissing her blossoming baby bump.

“Stuart and I are so so happy to share that we’re expecting a baby later this year!” the star wrote. She added in the post to her 955,000 followers: “We’re absolutely over the moon.”

And a host of the couple’s famous friends rushed to congratulate them on the news in the comments section. “Can. Not. Wait!” gushed fellow Saturdays member Frankie Bridge, who has two sons with footballer husband Wayne Bridge.

The Only Way Is Essex star Jess Wright added: “This is so beautiful congratulations darling.”

“Congratulations! I’m so happy for you both,” presenter Matt Edmondson wrote.

Other stars including Olympic champion Jessica Ennis-Hill, Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, and Strictly pro dancer Karen Harding shared messages of congratulations with Mollie and Stuart. Stuart popped the question to Mollie on New Year’s Day last year, in what the singer described as “one of the happiest days of my life”. The pair live in London with Mollie’s toy poodle Alfie.

Stuart's week got even better as he took a wicket with the sixth ball of the day in England's third Test match against New Zealand at Headingley this morning (June 23). He is due to celebrate his 36th birthday tomorrow.
