Strong winds have continued to cause disruption less than a week after Storms Malik and Carrie brought chaos to the North East.
Gusts of over 40mph have been recorded in Newcastle on Saturday with more expected on Sunday.
Winds are expected to ease briefly tonight before strengthening again around dawn.
Tomorrow, strong winds are forecast to continue to batter the region and bring icy showers.

A portion of the A66 is shut to high-sided and vulnerable vehicles due to strong winds.
The closure is between the A67 (Barnard Castle) and the A6 (Penrith).
National Highways said: "The A66 in Cumbria is closed to vulnerable vehicles due to strong winds between the A67 (Barnard Castle) and the A6 (Penrith).
"Vulnerable vehicles include high-sided vehicles, motorcycles, caravans and any vehicle liable to be affected by cross winds.'
"As an alternative route, vehicles may use the A69."
Some historical and local heritage sites have been forced to shut due to the adverse weather conditions.
These include Belsay Castle and Gardens, Birdoswald and Chesters Roman Fort.
Gosforth Nature Reserve will be shut for the rest of the day due to the weather but they plan to open tomorrow.
A number of household waste and recycling centres across Durham and Northumberland remain shut. These include:

- Wooler
- Whorral Bank
- Coxhoe
- Thornley
- Horden
- Tudhoe
- Romanway
