Strictly Come Dancing viewers took to Twitter to slam Giovanni Pernice's Disney-themed outfit claiming it looked like it was bought "straight off Amazon".
The professional dancer along with partner Richie Anderson danced to the singalong hit Hakuna Matata from The Lion King as Movie Week got underway. And while the dance went well with the pair scoring a respectable 27, fans weren't too convinced by the outfits the pair wore.
Giovanni sported a warthog outfit while his partner Richie wore a meerkat outfit to represent The Lion King characters Timon and Pumbaa. The usually trim Giovanni had a rounded belly as part of the outfit but while some viewers said he "still looked gorgeous", others weren't impressed.

One viewer took to Twitter to say: "Costume department have done Richie and Giovanni dirty tonight. Can't we do away with ridiculous outfits like this? It makes the whole dance look like a joke. Yes, I'm in a bad mood," while another said: "This is terrible, I feel like the outfits make it so much worse."
Another viewer called the outfits cheap saying: "They really don’t know how to dress same sex couples do they…. A bloody cheap Halloween outfit???" A fourth said: "They definitely brought Richie and gios outfit straight off Amazon."
However, Richie, after receiving his votes, spared a moment to thank the wardrobe department and teams backstage for all they had done. He said: "Can I just say thank you to all the costume, wardrobe, the hair teams. They've done an amazing job. Just thank you to everyone backstage, they've made this week what it is."
After winning Strictly last year with Rose Ayling-Ellis, Giovanni was paired with Radio 2 and One Show star Richie in one of two same-sex pairings for the new series. The two gave a very entertaining debut in the first live show, performing an energetic cha ch cha to Wham classic I'm Your Man.
However, while both looked like were having a ball on the dancefloor, claims then surfaced that there was 'tension' between them behind the scenes, with sources saying they 'hadn't clicked' but the pair looked to be as close as ever on Saturday's Movie Week.
