Strictly viewers feeling concerned for Giovanni Pernice after latest snap on socials

Strictly fans have become increasingly concerned for professional dancer Giovanni Pernice as he shared a photo of his new hairdo on Instagram - but that was not the focal point for viewers.

The current Strictly Come Dancing champion revealed to viewers that he had gone au naturale to grey in a new post on social media, BirminghamLive reports.

However, while Giovanni received many lovely comments on his new haircut, others were concerned that he had dropped a lot of weight in recent months.

Fans of the BBC star urged Giovanni to look after himself and take care of his body.

One Instagram user said: "Hi Giovanni handsome and always with a smile constantly on the go you definitely have slimmed down take time for rest. Good luck to you and Rose for the BAFTA."

Another agreed, writing: "Giovanni. Four great photos Dapper as usual. Lovely smile. Can see you have lost weight, particularly facially. Guess it’s the hectic work load. Do Take care."

Giovanni and telly dancing partner and soap star Rose Ayling-Ellis have been nominated for 'TV Moment' at the BAFTAS for their unbelievable 'silent' dance, bringing awareness to the deaf community.

They cut the music in the middle of their couple's choice dance on the show to dance in complete silence as a symbol of what it is like to be deaf.

Speaking at the RTS Awards, Rose said of the nomination:"It’s nice to be recognised in that way and I think it’s really important. It was a dance for the whole deaf community. It’s a dance to raise so much awareness, it’s a dance that makes an impact."

You can tune in on May 8 to see if Giovanni and Rose lift the award for their incredible television moment.
