Strictly Come Dancing star Joe Sugg enjoyed a cosy start to 2019 as he shared a romantic getaway with Dianne Buswell.
Sugg headed down to the West Country with his dancer girlfriend, hours after making his presenting debut fronting the New Year’s Eve coverage on BBC One.
The YouTube star, 27, showed Buswell around his hometown – even pointing out a roof he thatched in his first career – before they headed to Bath to take in the sights.
The loved-up pair, who announced their relationship after the Strictly final, then had a romantic dinner for two cuddled up in front of a fire.
Hours earlier, Sugg and Buswell rang in the New Year in front of the London fireworks, with both sharing adorable snaps of their blossoming romance.
Alongside a picture of them gazing at each other, Buswell wrote: “2018 you were an absolute blast so many amazing memories and achievements 2019 I’m so ready for you I can’t wait to see what is install [sic].
“I wish each and every one of you a happy and healthy 2019 because at the end of the day that is the most important thing of all.
"Also I couldn’t be happier with who I saw 2019 in with @joe_sugg," she sweetly added.
Sugg and Dianne went public with their romance in December, hours after losing the Strictly final to Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton.
The pair were rumoured to have got together during their time on the show, with their closeness contributing to Buswell’s split with soap star Anthony Quinlan.
