Strictly spin-off's Zoe Ball and Rylan Clark-Neal 'fall out after clashing backstage'

Strictly Come Dancing spin-off presenters Zoe Ball and Rylan Clark-Neal are said to be at war after reportedly clashing behind-the-scenes of It Takes Two.

The feud is claimed to have broken out after Zoe jokingly told Rylan to "shut up" when he disrupted her during a rehearsal.

A BBC insider told The Sun on Sunday that Rylan took offence despite Zoe's light-hearted tone.

Rylan, 30, was said to have been telling the crew jokes and laughing loudly when Zoe made her remark.

The insider said: "Rylan wasn't filming but he was 'performing' for the crew - telling jokes and laughing noisily. He was being very loud and Zoe snapped.

"It was obvious Rylan took offence.

"You could cut the atmosphere with a knife..."

They added: "But they are both complete professionals on screen."

The move is believed to have been made to lessen the pressure on Zoe who has taken over as the host of the Radio 2 breakfast show.

Some fans welcomed the changes but others have accused Rylan of "talking over" some star guests.

Rylan admitted at an awards ceremony last week that his dream job would be replacing Claudia Winkleman or Tess Daly as a main Strictly host.

Mirror Online has contacted a representative for Strictly for comment.
