Strictly's Tony Adams' hellish Halloween costume set to send spooks among viewers

Strictly Come Dancing star Tony Adams is set to provoke screams of horror from Gunners fans on Saturday when he dresses as a red devil for Halloween.

The 56-year-old will be dressed as the hellish character, the mascot of fierce rivals Man United, for his quickstep with dance partner Katya Jones, 33.

Tony twice rejected offers to sign for United and was part of the Arsenal side that famously brawled with them at Old Trafford during a 1-0 win en route to winning the 1990/91 league title.

And the former England skipper is enduring a horror show ahead of Strictly’s fright fest as his £2million Gloucestershire mansion is being plagued by bats.

He says: “We get bats quite a lot in the house.

“We live in the country, sometimes they come in the house and I find that scary.”

He and Katya will dance to The Devil Went Down to Georgia by The Charlie Daniels Band.

And he is not the only star who has got spooked. Fleur East has recalled the time she stayed in a ghostly hotel in Scotland during The X Factor Tour.

She said: “Everyone said it was haunted, but I thought, ‘Whatever’.

“We went to sleep and I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet and the bathroom door was locked from the inside.

“I had to get a hanger to push the doorknob in to then unlock it and I can’t explain that. When I went to bed it was open!”
