Strictly's Rose Ayling-Ellis looks glum as she leaves studio with boyfriend amid Giovanni romance rumours

Rose Ayling-Ellis was seen leaving the Strictly rehearsal studio with her rarely-seen boyfriend Samuel Arnold following an intense training session with her professional dance partner Giovanni Pernice.

The EastEnders actress has been in a relationship with Samuel for around seven years, but it's not often that the couple are seen together in public.

Rose has recently made headlines over romance rumours with Giovanni, writes The Mirror.

But her boyfriend turned up at the studio and greeted her to take her out for dinner to celebrate her 27th birthday earlier this week.

She looked incredible in burgundy trousers, which she paired with a big winter coat and a pair of Doc Marten boots.

They have reportedly grown a very close bond (rose.a.e/Instagram)

Her boyfriend looked very smart for the occasion as he wore a T-shirt and jeans.

Giovanni also attended his dance partner's birthday meal, documenting their night on social media.

The trio tucked into an incredible selection of desserts served on top of a luxurious mirror - and it appears Rose had a great time.

Writing on Instagram, Giovanni shared: "Still smiling and thinking about this little plate of dessert."

The group's fun-filled night comes after Rose's boyfriend is said to be 'raising an eyebrow' over her close bond with professional dancer Giovanni.

New magazine reported that there are concerns over how Rose's partner of seven years Samuel Arnold is feeling about their connection.

A source told the magazine: "Pals worry it's hard for her boyfriend. He's delighted for her, of course - she's the star of the show.

"But there are concerns he is raising an eyebrow at their closeness. Rose and Giovanni have got a special kind of magic nobody could imagine. It's very rare."

The source added: "Rose is very focused and wants to win, but she and Giovanni are getting closer and closer.

"You can see from the praise they're giving each other and the open compliments about how proud they are of each other."

Rose is Strictly's first ever deaf contestant and she has explained before she uses the beat of the music and counting to stay in time.

While they are performing the judges and anyone in the studio are asked not to clap so Rose can concentrate.

Giovanni and Rose have been able to incorporate British Sign Language (BSL) into their routines as well as wowing viewers just two weeks ago when they included a silent section in their dance so everyone understood how Rose performed.

Following the powerful performance Giovanni whispered to Rose 'I love you'.

Then later on he praised his partner by saying: "A moment that will remain forever in my heart. You really are a ROLE MODEL!"
