Former Strictly Come Dancing star, Ola Jordan, has thanked her fans for their support following a post which shows her recent weight gain. The dancer, 39, said on Instagram Stories: "Hi guys, I just wanted to say thank you so much for your lovely messages after my last post."
She added: "I've got to say, it's so nice to see that I'm not alone and a lot of you go through the same thing as me." Despite this, she called it "embarrassing" that she is a dancer that struggles with weight gain.
Ola, who is married to fellow professional dancer James Jordan with whom she shares two-year-old daughter Ella, posted the photograph on Instagram on Wednesday, July 20. In the photo, she is standing with James next to a swimming pool.

"Hi guys. I wasn’t going to post this picture but I’ve decided to because I’m horrified and so disappointed with myself and by posting it I’m hoping it will help motivate me to do something about it," her caption reads on the post.
"Our friend took this snap of us yesterday trying to stay cool by the pool but OMG... it was a total shock to say the least! When did we get ‘mum and dad bods’ ????"
Ola continued: "We know we’re not in our best Strictly shape but hey that’s what happens when you stop dancing for hours every day and have a baby," Ola added, before joking, "(I just want to know James’ excuse)."
"Stay cool everyone. I think I need to avoid the ice cream for a while!!!," she concluded.
James also left his thoughts, writing, "Saw this ages ago but my message didn’t go up - have you been drinking?
"We just look different babe - but OMG I look old."
Following the post, Ola's fans flocked to the comments section to offer their support to her. One notable comment came from Gogglebox star, Scarlett Moffatt, who has also struggled with weight gain in the past. Scarlett wrote: "You look so happy xxxx"
Elsewhere, Strictly: It Takes Two host, Zoe Ball, said: "Love you both!"
Charlotte Crosby from Geordie Shore wrote: "You both still look bloody amazing! Hate to read you put yourself down! You are stunning Ola! And both amazing people and parents."
