Former Strictly Come Dancing favourite Ola Jordan took to Instagram on Wednesday to share her dismay at the 'mum and dad bod' her and husband James have developed since leaving the hit BBC1 programme.
The 39-year old, who departed the show after being eliminated in 2015's 13th series, posted the snap in a bid to motivate her into restoring her famous toned figure.
Appearing in the photo alongside husband of 19 years, James, Ola donned a hot pink bikini set by the pool. However, the star was clearly shocked by the size of her tummy, which forced her into taking action.
"Hi guys I wasn't going to post this picture but I've decided to because I'm horrified and so disappointed with myself and by posting it I'm hoping it will help motivate me to do something about it," she declared.
"Our friend took this snap of us yesterday trying to stay cool by the pool but OMG... it was a total shock to say the least! When did we get 'mum and dad bods'?"
She continued: "We know we're not in our best Strictly shape but hey that's what happens when you stop dancing for hours every day and have a baby (I just want to know James’ excuse).
"Stay cool everyone. I think I need to avoid the ice cream for a while! Couples That Eat Together Stay Together."
Fans and celebrities flocked to the comments section to offer words of encouragement to the dancer, with pregnant Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby writing: "You both still look bloody amazing! Hate to read you put yourself down! You are stunning Ola! And both amazing people and parents."
Love Island's Laura Anderson, meanwhile, added: "Stunning as always. Ola you were always my Strictly inspo watching for years, so beautiful and talented and trust me you still are, enjoy your food, booze and family time. It's way more fun than keeping up a six pack let's be honest."
Former contestant and It Takes Two presenter Zoe Ball simply said: "Love you two."
One fan affirmed: "Refreshing post Ola - you are very gorgeous and always look so whatever size. It's bloody hard after having a baby! You look great x.
Another said: "Ah I love this post and you are both real people at the end of the day! If you train that hard for so long yes you keep the figure but that's not real life and that’s totally cool! Plus you grew another human so that in itself is awesome x."
British-Polish professional Ola welcomed their daughter Ella to the world in 2020 via C-section.
Doctors had previously informed her she would be unable to give birth naturally due to recurring stress fractures in her hips caused by a lifetime of dancing and dieting.
