Former Strictly Come Dancing regular Ola Jordan discussed her recent weight gain since leaving the show. The 39-year-old appeared on Loose Women alongside husband and dancer James, and spoke about a recent Instagram
When asked by host Kaye Adams whether the couple felt they had let themselves go after posting an Instagram picture showing off their “mum and dad bods”, the pair both agreed that they felt they had. Ola said: “Obviously, I had an amazing body when I was on Strictly. Everyone used to look up to me.
“So, coming to the realisation that it’s not the same and it’s not going to be the same anymore, it’s really hard.” Husband James agreed with this sentiment, telling the panel: “I always said to Ola, I used to find it very easy because I was training so much all the time, I could eat whatever I wanted.”

The 44-year-old added: “And I always said, ‘I don’t understand why people put on weight’ and then I have put on three stone since I stopped Strictly, which is quite a lot.” Ola said she was “horrified and so disappointed” with herself for putting on weight since having a kid and leaving the show, but many fellow celebs were quick to rush to their defence on the social media platform.
Former Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby wrote: “You both still look bloody amazing! Hate to read you put yourself down! You are stunning Ola! And both amazing people.” While Laura Anderson said: “Stunning as always. Ola you were always my strictly inspo watching for years, so beautiful and talented and trust me you still are.”
However, James took a more lighthearted approach in the comments section, replying to Ola by saying: “Saw this ages ago but my message didn’t go up - have you been drinking? We just look different babe - but OMG I look old.”
