Strictly's Neil Jones and Love Island girlfriend Chyna Mills reveal baby gender with co-star help

Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Neil Jones and his Love Island star girlfriend Chyna Mills have announced the gender of their baby... with the help of his BBC co-stars in an adorable moment on stage.

The showbiz couple had been dating for a year and had announced their pregnancy earlier this year, with the pair now letting fans know they will be having a baby girl, with the help of Strictly dancing pro's dancing co-stars.

The news was announced during a rehearsal for the Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals tour on stage as they sliced into a specially-made cake for the celebration alongside Dianne Buswell, Gorka Marquez, Vito Coppola and Jowita Przystal.

Neil told HELLO! magazine: “They’d been trying to guess if we were expecting a girl or a boy, and for the HELLO! photoshoot the girls wore pink or blue eyeshadow, depending on what they thought.

"Dianne was like, ‘Your daughter will have so many (Strictly) aunties now!’ Chyna and I are so happy and I can’t wait to be a dad.”

Chyna said: “I had horrendous morning sickness, which my mum – who’s had four girls – tells me is a sign.

"My cravings have been for sweet food, too. Krispy Kreme donuts are my downfall.”

“During a scan the nurse tried to get the baby to turn. When she wouldn’t, the nurse joked, ‘This one’s quite stubborn,’ and I thought, ‘That’s like Chyna," Neil added.

"The baby even lies with her arms above her head and with her legs crossed – just like her mum. Her legs are really long, so she could be a model, too.”

The pair have been smitten since they began dating last year after Chyna caught Neil's eye while she was on Love Island. After her exit from the villa, Neil reached out to Chyna on Instagram. They then met in person when they attended the same event together.

Professional dancer Neil and Love Island beauty Chyna, who was a youth support worker before her stint on the ITV reality dating show, first sparked romance rumours last year.

Their romance was soon confirmed when the pair headed on a trip to Paris together in August and shared photos on their social media pages.
