Nadiya Bychkova has revealed a touching remark Matt Goss made 'off camera' about Kym Marsh and not wanting to compete against her, before his exit from Strictly Come Dancing at the weekend.
Bros icon Matt sparked a lot of excitement from fans when his name appeared on the Strictly line up before the start of the new series but, the music legend hasn't lit up the ballroom in the way viewers expected him too. And, on Sunday night, after falling into the bottom two for a second time, Matt lost the dance-off and his place in the competition to Kym.
For the first time this series, all four Strictly judges were in agreement over who should stay in the competition, with Shirley Ballas taking the same opinion as her colleagues, after two weeks of disagreeing with their decision. That meant it was curtains for Matt and Nadiya, after their jive to an Elvis Presley classic scored them just 20 out of 40.

When, in reality, Matt's elimination from Strictly happened on Saturday, it wasn't shown until Sunday night and, taking to Instagram in the aftermath of the results show to pay tribute to her dance partner, Nadiya shared something Matt said that went unheard by viewers.
She posted: "I am so grateful I got to teach and to dance with this incredible man, a music icon. But more importantly I got to know real you @mattgoss. And you are tender, kind and the truest of gentlemen. We were stood there, watching Kim dancing in the dance off, and he was saying: “as a gentleman, I can’t compete with a lady @marsh_kym, with a friend.."
She added: "He loves and cares about each and everyone there @bbcstrictly it was difficult to compete for him, because he didn’t want anyone to leave the competition. He is a real gentleman and more. I couldn’t be more proud of you partner. And I feel so lucky now I have a friend like you in this world."
Kym was among the many people to react to Nadiya's Instagram post, with the former Hear'Say star replying: "He’s a true gentleman. I am so proud to call him my friend! @mattgoss love ya darling."
