Strictly's Max George transforms into Homer Simpson with Dianne Buswell as Marge

Max George has unveiled his dramatic transformation into Homer Simpson.

The Wanted singer, 32, sent fans into a social media frenzy after sharing a snap of himself with Strictly Come Dancing pro partner Dianne Buswell.

Channeling hit character of the American sitcom Homer, Max has his arm around Dianne, who transformed into Marge.

Max even went as far as sticking a huge yellow beer belly on his six pack, meanwhile Dianne opted for the signature blue hairdo as they both perched up on the famous Simpsons sofa.

Sharing the snap with his 173k Instagram followers, Max wrote: "Here we go... The Simpsons is actually happening!! Also, this pic sums up our week so far."

The singer even set the snap's location as Springfield.

Naturally, the striking looks saw fans flock to the comments section to share a giggle or two at the hilarious outfits.

"Can't wait to see this on Saturday," wrote one fan.

Another penned: "Can't wait !!! the costumes look amaze so far hahah i’m so excited for saturday it’s gonna be incredible !! defo one to remember."

A third added: "Buzzing for this! I love The Simpsons."

While a fourth agreed, adding: "Soooo excited for this! It’s going to be amazing."

Last week, Max was stunned to learn that he's be transforming into couch potato Homer for his next dance with Dianne.

During Saturday night's episode, Max and Dianne chatted to Claudia Winkleman announced that Jacqui Smith is going home, meaning the pair were safe in the competition.

Celebrities and their dance partners are taking part in Movie Week this weekend, and it's safe to say Max was nothing short of stunned when hearing who he would be channelling.

Claudia said: "Dianne, tell him what is he doing next week."

To which Dianne responded: "You are the one and only Homer Simpson next week, and I am Marge. You are welcome by the way."

Claudia then asked: "Do you love The Simpsons?"

"Love it, especially Homer," Max responded.
