Strictly Come Dancing fans were left delighted at the appearance of one the show's unsung heroes during Saturday's final.
With the Glitterball trophy at stake, emotions ran high during the last live show of the series as Rose and Giovanni and John and Johannes battled it out for victory.
Each couple had three chances to impress the Strictly judges and, more importantly, the viewers at home, as the result was decided purely on the public vote, with the scores just acting as a guide.
First up for Rose and Giovanni and John and Johannes were the Judges Picks, followed by their personal favourite numbers, which saw a reprise of Rose and Giovanni's poignant Couple's Choice and John and Johannes' Pirates of the Caribbean themed paso doble.

And then came routines the judges and millions of viewers had never seen before - the Show Dances.
And that's when fans saw Strictly choreographer Jason Gilkison work his magic on the finalists.

Dance aficionado Jason is the man responsible for many of the amazing pro routines on Strictly - including the recent It's All Coming Back To Me Now dance, and on Saturday we first saw him in the training room with newly crowned winners Rose and Giovanni as he put them through their paces on their Romeo & Juliet inspired number.
And Jason getting the opportunity to choreograph the Show Dances and some well deserved air time, went down very well with the scores of people watching the final at home.
One took to Twitter to post: "yes I love it when the choreographers like Jason Gilkison get screen time and proper credit for all the work they do behind the scenes," with a second tweeting: "I love when @JasonGilkison appears."
And, commending Jason on a job well done, a third commented: " @JasonGilkison amazing show dances from the final ... beautiful choreography."
