Strictly's Janette Manrara sizzles in white bikini as she recreates iconic Bond scene

Janette Manrara is no stranger to showing off her physique in an array of sequin dresses and glamorous outfits, but her latest look really is one to die for.

The 38-year-old star, who quit Strictly Come Dancing after taking part in the 2020 series, has recreated one of the most iconic Bond girl moments in cinematic history.

Fans of 007 will remember the scene in 1962's Dr. No where actress Ursula Andress emerges from the sea in a white bikini carrying a large shell.

However, as Sean Connery's Bond approaches her, Ursula's character Honey Ryder quickly pulls out her knife as she feels threatened.

Janette decided to recreate the memorable moment for her Remembering The Oscars dance tour with husband Aljaž Škorjanec.

Originally scheduled for Spring 2020, the tour was twice postponed due to the pandemic.

But now the 40-date tour, in which Aljaž and Janette give the red carpet treatment to Oscar-winning songs, dances, movies and stars, is touring the UK now and will end on Saturday 7 May - including a residency at London’s Peacock Theatre from May 2.

Neither Janette nor Aljaž will compete as professionals in this year's Strictly Come Dancing, after the Slovenian dancer followed in his wife's footsteps and quit the show last month.

The 32-year-old teased in a statement on social media that he has "lots of exciting stuff planned" for the future, following his departure from Strictly - which he joined back in 2013.

And when Janette broke her silence on the huge news, she said: "I cannot express the sadness in my heart to see [Aljaž] say goodbye to Strictly."

She however said that at the same time "there is so much joy" in her heart for what he has brought to the show - which he won with model Abbey Clancy, 36, in 2013.

Janette continued: "I have admired him from the day I met him for his passion for dancing but more than anything for his kindness towards anyone he encounters."

She said that as his wife and best friend, she "could not be happier to know that he made so many smile" whilst on the show - both viewers and those behind the scenes.

Janette said: "He makes every single person he encounters feel absolutely special; ask any of his partners throughout the years." She said he's what the show is "all about."

Remembering The Oscars is touring nationwide now, ending with a residency at London’s Peacock Theatre from May 2nd – 7th.
