Helen Skelton has dished out some "fighting talk" during her first Strictly appearance, leaving one of the judges quite "unimpressed".
The Countryfile presenter was introduced to the audience during the launch show of the popular BBC programme alongside her dancing partner Gorka Márquez tonight, September 23. The 39-year-old is already being tipped to win this year's glitterball trophy and has shown straight away that she is ready to take on the challenge.
The mum-of-three, who lives in Leeds, said she was not afraid of judge Craig Revel Horwood's "tantrums". Host Tess Daly joked: "Blue Peter presenters, they face some pretty terrifying challenges.

"Tomorrow night, you'll face Craig Revel Horwood with paddles, how do you feel about that?"
Helen quipped: "Well I've got three little kids, so I don't think there's any tantrum you could throw at me that I haven't seen."
Tess gasped: "Oh, well said, Helen. Fighting talk, Craig." Tess then turned to the judge, who appeared unimpressed, and said: "Just look at that face."
Helen grinned and asked: "Am I going to regret that?" The camera later showed Craig smiling at the Blue Peter presenter to indicate their little exchange had all been in good fun.
Before it was revealed who Helen would be dancing with, host Tess Daly asked what she was looking for in a partner. Helen told her it would have to be someone fun and patient, who is good with kids and dogs and understands a Northern accent.
