Strictly's Giovanni Pernice thanks fans after achieving 'personal milestone'

Giovanni Pernice has been quick to express his gratitude to fans, after the Strictly Come Dancing reached a huge personal milestone and topped a million followers on Insdtagram.

Italian pro dancer Giovanni has now a regular in the Strictly ballroom for seven years, reaching the final with Georgia May Foote, Debbie McGee and Faye Tozer, before finally taking home the Glitterbnall trophy with EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis at the end of 2021. He was back on the dancefloor a few months ago for Strictly's last series, but unlike 12 months earlier, his run in the ballroom proved to be very brief, as he and celeb partner Richie Anderson git the boot after just three routines together.

While he did still appear in professional group numbers and dance with Katya Jones to a performance from Lewis Capaldi, Giovanni was lately out of the spotlight for the majority of the series. However, that has all changed in the past week as, while many of his co-stars open the Strictly tour, he has hit the road with his Made in Italy show.
