Strictly Come Dancing 's Giovanni Pernice proved his friendship with Rose Ayling-Ellis is stronger than ever as he supported her in her latest role.
Rose, 28, landed her first acting job since leaving EastEnders and is appearing in Shakespeare's As You Like It.
Her best pal Giovanni supported her by watching her perform at Soho Place in London adding that she was "brilliant".
The couple lifted the Glitterball trophy together in 2021 after they won the competition - and the nation's hearts.
Posing together, Giovanni added the caption: "Another amazing evening, watching my second partner in crime @rose.a.e at @sohoplace with As You Like It. Brilliant performances!"
Rose looked chic and casual in a pair of straight-legged jeans and a cosy light blue roll-neck jumper.
Her honey blonde hair fell in soft waves and she kept her make up minimal.
Italian native Giovanni looked sharp in a pair of grey chinos, a shirt and navy blue suit jacket.
The couple showed their playful side as they also pulled silly faces together - with Rose filling her cheeks with breath.
In another snap Rose got Giovanni in a headlock and rubbed her knuckle against his head.
Fans were touched to see that they were still the best of pals, with one writing: "I knew he wouldn’t let her down. Lots of others didn’t. Beautiful pic of you both.xx"
"This makes me so happy. Break a leg Rose," another wrote.
A third chimed: "Love these photos and your wonderful friendship."
One person wrote: "When are you two going to get Married," but other fans hit back at the comment, questioning why a man and a woman can't just be friends.
"When will people stop with these ridiculous comments on his ig.. don't you realise it's comments like this that stop them posting together ffs," one person quipped.
"I'm not sure what's more cringe, the negative comments, or ones telling them to get married," another added.
Despite leaving the BBC show last year, Rose played a key part on Albert Square on Christmas Day - which saw her dad Danny Dyer 'killed off'.
She spent a few years as Frankie, who Danny's character Mick fathered after she was abused in care as a young child.

Even after she left, many EastEnders fans thought that Rose would have a lasting impact after she was at the centre of an incriminating photo.
After Janine framed Linda for the drink drive crash, she was actually in the background of the photo - which clashed with her alibi where she claimed she was out of town.
Shirley Carter, Mick's mum, broke the lock of Janine's daughter Scarlett's diary to unearth the picture to get answers.
