Strictly's Dianne Buswell to perform with Dev Griffith as planned despite horror fall

Strictly Come Dancing Dianne Buswell will perform with Dev Griffith on live show this weekend despite being rushed to hospital after a terrifying fall.

Radio DJ Dev accidentally dropped the dancer during rehearsals this week, and she was rushed to A&E amid fears she'd suffered a concussion.

However, Mirror Online can reveal Dianne has bounced back and will hit the dance floor as planned on Saturday night.

An insider told us: "There was an incident and Dianne went to get checked over.

"She’s absolutely fine and performing tomorrow night."

The Radio 1 DJ is said to have lost his grip on the dancer during a lift in rehearsals and she went crashing to the floor.

Dev "doubled over in panic" as medical staff rushed to her aid, according to The Sun .

Dianne is believed to have been admitted to A&E amid fears she'd suffered a concussion.

A source said: "“Dev let her slip from his grasp and Dianne fell and landed on her head. It couldn’t have been worse.

"Dev... was praying that there was no serious damage — the worst case scenario was that she had some internal head injuries.

“She plunged a long way and he couldn’t help but panic about what he’d done. Dev insisted on going to hospital and looked in total shock."

However, there was no serious damage and doctors at North London’s Barnet Hospital hospital discharged her after diagnosing her with whiplash.
